Candy is honestly the most popular giveaway! If you consider that teams have around 10 members, you can multiply by the number of teams. Personally, I just bring a bunch of whatever; and when we run out, we run out! We just put them on the table in front of our team boards. It encourages other teams to stop by and at least glance at the board, I find (most of us feel guilty just taking the candy/item and leaving, so we at least look!) No one cares about the value.
This is ours for this year...totally 100% because the co-coach is creative! I've been doing this for about a decade; when it's left to me, I just our some candy in a bucket on the table! The pins are homemade, by the way!
Hi all --
In terms of things to give away at the qualifier, how do you figure out how many? I know the number of teams, but is there a rule of thumb. Also, do you bring lots of the same thing or different things and if different are they all of equal "value." Finally, how do the give-aways work?
Thanks,
Beth
