Hello! Our Cargo Connect competition season is upon us and we are looking for volunteer judges! Because of our hybrid format, judging will be done virtually during the week and robot game will happen in-person on the weekends. Judges help assess teams on Robot Design, Innovation Project, and Core Values. Reasons to Judge… * It is a great opportunity to be a supportive STEM mentor to kids across Virginia and Washington, D.C. * Whether you are a veteran or rookie coach, judging is a great way to learn more about the process so you can prepare your team! * If you are sitting this season out, it is a good way to stay involved with FLL judging changes. Judges still needed on… * Thursday, November 4th from 5:00 – 7:30 PM * Wed and Thurs, November 10th and 11th from 4-7:30 (depending on event assigned to) * Wed and Thurs, November 17th and 18th from 4-7:30 (depending on event assigned to) ** Opportunities with both dates listed- it is ideal to have judges there both days, but some events are scheduling judges for just one day when appropriate.
