Ditto to the prior and future accolades from coaches and teams. Our two Clueless 8th graders have been fortunate enough to participate in the past two state championships (in person two years ago "Club or Rock" and remote last year "Nights of Ni") and they spent the past 4 weeks hyping up how fun going to states in person was going to be to the 6th and 7th graders on the team (as well as leading by example by putting in the hours and working hard). To quote "cat in the hat" Vincent after regionals about going to states in person to the team, "You guys are going to have SO MUCH FUN! IT'S THE BEST!". And as always the experience you all gave the kids exceeded the hype! The kids had a blast, learned the outcomes of hard work and core values and experienced gracious professionalism first hand (thanks to all the teams!). They even got to roll down the hill before going home (makes me itch and dizzy just thinking about it).

But for us coaches and the kids' parents, making it possible for the kids to achieve one of the goals they set for themselves as a team at the beginning of the season in person - PRICELESS!

Yes,yes, yes! We second Mr. Morrow’s comments. The Tabb “Transportation”
Tigers learned so much from this experience! Mainly resilience and perseverance. Even though their robot was also not behaving, the smiles on their faces throughout the entire day was priceless. Thank you VA-DC FLL volunteers for making this weekend happen for them!

What a great weekend! Our team participated today (Sunday, Div 2) and while the number of teams was smaller than we are used to, and certainly the number of fans in the seats was even smaller still, we had a GREAT time! I talked with many coaches (and at this point, I consider many of them friends), and everyone felt the same: this needed to happen! And we all know it wasn't easy, but the tournament team at JMU sure made it look easy. You guys are the best in the world, and I challenge any other region in the world to prove to me otherwise.

Thanks so much for giving up your weekend. It meant a lot to the kids on my team.

On the other hand, our robot could take some lessons from you guys because it does not do what it is supposed to! :)

Best wishes and we'll see you next year!
