Try this site: https://legoapptools.azurewebsites.net/ - it takes Lego Spike, Robot Inventor or EV3 classroom files and gives you several tabs, including a graphic view (printable), a pseudo-code view that looks like python or java, including all your comments.  Pretty slick.

For both the EV3 and for the Spike app, the only way I was ever able to print the code was to screenshot it and paste it into PowerPoint. There you can arrange your "pictures of code" and annotate as needed. Why don't they just have a regular Print function???? I don't know.....

If there is a better way to do it, I'd like to see it.

What program will open the download so I can print it?

TIA!

On the spike app, if you go to the home screen, and select "view all", a list of all the programs will appear.  If you click the dots on the top right of each program, there will be a drop down that includes the option "share", if you click that, then I believe the options will include saving to a file or emailing the file.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.

The kids have been using iPads and tablets to program, we’ve tried saving on google drive but have not been able to get it to work.

We also tried saving from a tablet and couldn’t even find the share option at all in the spike app.

Hello

Have you tried to save on a thumb drive?

The files should be in a Spike folder.

I was able to do this from an old computer and then open it on a newer laptop.

I hope that this helps!!

We as coaches and our students cannot figure out how to backup the programmed  code from the Spike App to share to backup devices. Has anyone figured this out who is able to share instructions?

Thank you,

Deborah Hayward
