Good morning!

The requirement of the hydroelectric dam is that the energy unit is no longer touching the hydroelectric dam. There are no specific requirements that it must be done in a particular way. What you're suggesting seems fine. 

The only thing I would point out here is you cannot score points from damaging The mission models or separating dual lock. See page 20 rule 3.

Is it required to release the water on the hydroelectric dam to get the points for releasing the energy unit?  For example, if the robot is able to turn the turbine wheel another way, will it count?
