The border of an area is counted as part of the area in FLL, so you should be good.

I recommend letting your referee know about it before the match starts, though.

One of our teams has a long equipment piece for one mission testing the edges of the launch area.  Is the black line outlining the launch area considered part of the launch area or does the robot have to be inside the white area of the launch area (can they be on the line but not beyond the line).  That 1/2 of a centimeter for the black line space on the curve of the launch area and back wall makes a difference for their mission.
