Our greatest need is for judges.
Judges must be unaffiliated with any competing FTC team, so this is an ideal role for mentors, alumni, or community members who are not directly tied to teams attending the event. However, because we are running two events, (one on Saturday, one on Sunday), team-affiliated adults can serve as judges on the day their team is not competing. This opens up additional opportunities for mentors, alumni, and parents who want to help but must avoid conflicts of interest.
For teams that are competing, mentors who are willing to spend the morning inspecting robots, or other adults who are free to assist for the event, please apply for inspector, field reset, or queuing.
For our FRC teams, your mentors, parents, and alumni make excellent judges, referees, and inspectors, and your help spreading the word would be incredibly appreciated.

Even one additional volunteer can make a tremendous difference. We ask for volunteers throughout the year, but the timeline for these two events is especially tight, and we truly need support as soon as possible to ensure both days run smoothly for the students who have worked so hard to prepare.
ALSO: I'd like to put out a call for event speakers! Please let me know or someone you know would be interested in encouraging the next wave of engineers and STEM professionals!
