Dear Community Members: Assalama Alekum!
Ramadan begins on Saturday, August 22, 2009. The Islamic Center of
Shenandoah Valley will hold Traveeh prayers starting Friday, August 21. The
Isha prayer for the first week of Ramadan will begin at 9:30 PM. We also plan
to hold community potluck Iftar dinners on every Saturday and Sunday during
Ramadan. However, there will be no Iftar program on Saturday September 19
to prepare the mosque for the Eid ul Fitr events. Community members are welcome
to do their fast breaking at the mosque during the week as well. For a PDF copy
