Absolutely! This barely visible work builds and maintains the infrastructure that supports the community of feminist scholars.

And additional thanks to Joan Tronto, who led the effort to find locations alternative to Sand Keys.

Yes, my thanks also to the Lisas and everyone else who worked on this conference, as well as everyone who presented their work.  It was indeed rejuvenating, stimulating, inspiring and challenging--a real feast of ideas that will nourish me for a while!

Gracias! Merci! Thanks!

I'd like to express gratitude to all of the organizers and participants for making another inspiring FEAST conference.  It's been a while since I've been able to attend, and it was most rejuvenating to my intellect and sense of social commitment to learn from and interact with so many wise feminists.  I know there is a lot of work behind the scenes for many months to pull it all together, so thanks!  Best regards to you all, Maureen

Subject: 2011 Meeting Location Election Results

Hi FEAST Members,

The recently conducted election regarding the FEAST meeting location
resulted in the selection of the Illinois Resort & Conference Center.
This will be the location of the 2011 meeting as long as an acceptable
contract is negotiated.  The FEAST Steering Committee is working
diligently to secure a contract.  Once the details are worked out,
more information will be made available to the membership.  Thank you
for your participation in the process.
