Friends of Pakistan Picnic:

Dear Friends of Pakistan: Assalama Alekum:

I had sent three possible event dates in my earlier message. Our first program is in now finalized. Here are the details:

Location:         Purcell Park, Harrisonburg, VA (See directions below)

Date:               Saturday, June 26, 2009

Time:              2:00-Closing

(Since this is potluck picnic, we request that everybody arrive by 3:00 PM, so we don’t have to wait for the last family to arrive until food is served)

Suggested foods to bring: Please bring two of your favorite Pakistani dishes to share with the community. Please also bring generous quantities of soft drinks.

All Pakistani-Americans and Friends of Pakistan are invited. If you know anybody who does not receive e-mails from this listserv, please feel free to forward it to them. Feel free to bring any guests who might be interested in this program.
