First day is project and teamwork. I'm told there are workshops the kids can sign up for. No spectator options. But parents usually go. Second day there is robot performance. In past years 16 tables I have been told robot design judging as well.

Friday night there is holiday celebration downtown and maybe a Lego parts swap.

Team 1740 TNBI - we are going as well. First time for us but not a rookie team. Pretty excited.

For example, is the first day more focused on project presentations and events that parents and the public do not observe, while the second day is more spectator oriented? Should I recommend entire families attend one or both days, or is it better to suggest something else? (We have a mix of older and younger siblings- the younger ones get easily bored and cranky; the teens start out that way.)
