I am truly saddened and will miss her. Sally was such a basically good person. I continue to draw on her work.

At least I am glad we have Joan and Nancy's film of her. We could show clips at any memorial.

Good wishes to all,
Alison

How very sad.  What a loss to the philosophical community, and to feminist philosophy in particular.

No the universe will not be the same.  I want to believe in the immortality of the soul because such a beautiful soul should never leave us.  This is so painful.  Thank you for informing us Joan.

I don’t know much about the details, except that Sally died peacefully.  I will send more information if and when I have it.
