CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

 The Nominating Committee of FEAST solicits nominations for four (4) positions on the Steering Committee, the governing body of the organization. For a complete list of Steering Committee positions see http://www.afeast.org/Steering/steering.html

The four open seats are:

(1) Chair of the Diversity Committee

(2) At-Large Position

(3) Chair of Web Committee

(4) Chair International Committee

Each of these positions has a three-year term, from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2013 (yes, the term has begun already).  Self-nominations are welcome, and all nominations should include a brief biography of 250 words or less, plus a short narrative of 250 words or less describing the candidate’s interest in and hopes for FEAST.  The candidate must be a current member of FEAST by the time the ballot is posted.  (To join FEAST, please go to the website: http://www.afeast.org/)

Deadline for nominations is March 25, 2011.  Please send all nominations to Maurice Hamington, Chair of the Nominating Committee, [log in to unmask].

Voting for this position will be limited to FEAST members, who will receive ballots on the FEAST MEMBERS listserve.  The voting period will run from April 1 until April 15, 2011.
