Even if we love it, not everyone loves philosophers' voices. (My children hate them, for example, which is why the tacit reference to parenting is funny.) And they can be intimidating to non-philosophers.

You can get the "Don't make me use my philosopher's voice" t-shirts on Zazzle....just use the search box and the image will come up with options for styles of t-shirts. I already ordered one!

I imagine that store owns the copyright and image. I can't figure out how to request that it be offered as a t-shirt, so I submitted this as a question to zazzle support. It will take several days for them to get back to me. Earlier this year I ordered posters from zazzle to help market philosophy at UD. Our chair paid for a poster of choice for each philosopher's office door. There are a number of catchy and fun posters to choose from, including the "Don't make me use my philosopher voice" poster. I agree that it would be great as a t-shirt!PeggyOn May 18, 2012, at 10:45 AM, Ann Garry wrote:and can we get a "don't make me use my philosopher's voice" t-shirt too?Ann############################On Fri, May 18, 2012 at 6:47 AM, Peggy DesAutels <[log in to unmask]> wrote:
Hi All,
The poster is back on the CSW store site. AND we now offer mugs and t-shirts.
The CSW's grand vision is that at least one poster hangs in every department in the country, at least one mug sits on every philosopher's desk, and every philosophy professor (male and female) teaches and attends conferences in the t-shirts. :) They're available in a wide variety of colors. When you need to dress up a little, simply throw a blazer on over your t-shirt! Plus, you get the satisfaction of knowing you've contributed money to the CSW.
