Hello Jr.FLL Friends,
Yes, it is true that the Jr.FLL Expo for this Saturday has been cancelled.
As it turns out, not enough teams were ready for the November 3rd date.
Organizers waited until the last minute hoping that more teams would be ready,
but in the end there were not enough teams.
There will still be plenty of Jr.FLL Expos happening around Virginia/DC
this year, so all teams will have multiple opportunities to participate!
And remember, if anyone is interested in the World Jr.FLL Expo you can apply!!
It would be very exciting to have a Virginia/DC team attend!!
There are many FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Tournaments going on around Virginia
during the next three weeks and I encourage teams to attend one if they have time.

I hope you are all having a Super Senior season!! Remember it is not too late to start
a team, registration is open until mid-April 2013!! If your team is looking for a nice service
project, consider making Thanksgiving cards for a local senior facility - they will love them!

I just received an email from one of the organizers of the expo on Nov 3rd
at Ashburn that this expo has been cancelled !! Is this true ? I am a bit
shocked as were are prepared with our presentation and model and now are
quite disappointed and frustrated due to the lack of information that has
been distributed about this cancellation.
