The Public Philosophy Network (PPN), an organization dedicated to the support of publicly engaged philosophical teaching, research, and social action projects, is holding its second conference on March 14-16, 2013 at the Emory University Conference Center.
A key feature of the conference is the participatory workshops on a range of issues related to publicly engaged philosophy. Workshop topics are listed below; for full descriptions and the full conference program, go to: http://publicphilosophynetwork.ning.com/page/conf-program-draft
The deadline to register for the workshop and apply for a spot in a workshop (all who register will be listed in the program as discussants, but no formal presentation is expected or required) HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO FEBRUARY 8, 2013. That date is also the last chance to register for the conference with subsidized registration rates.
