I suggest those who are looking for a place to send material may wish to contact the women's history archives at Radcliffe/Harvard. The archive may accept the material and, if not, staff there may have some suggestions about what might be a more suitable depository. See http://www.radcliffe.harvard.edu/schlesinger-library In the alternative, archivists at Bryn Mawr College may have suggestions. In the end, indexing will likely be key to making the material accessible in future.

Some state libraries are now keenly interested in "social history" but these days resources for indexing are likely scarce.
