The Department of Philosophy, Wilfrid Laurier University, Ontario, Canada, invites applications for a tenure-track position in Feminist Philosophy (broadly construed to include all traditions) at the rank of Assistant Professor (provisional level) beginning July 1, 2014, subject to budgetary approval. The successful candidate is expected to complement the existing curriculum, in particular courses at the 200-level, but will have the opportunity to introduce new courses.

Applicants must have a PhD in Philosophy by the start of the appointment and should have a strong research record and a demonstrated record of excellence in undergraduate teaching. The teaching workload norm is four one-term courses and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach in and help to develop our MA Program, and is expected to maintain an active research agenda and to engage in academic service.
