Alison Bailey WGS Program, Director [log in to unmask] *Position Summary:* *The Assistant Director of Women's and Gender Studies Program, *I*llinois State University,* under the Direction of the Program Director, provides leadership and actively works to support the academic activities of students in the program.Through programming and curricular outreach activities, both on and off campus, supports the mission of the program, increasing awareness and participants in the program.The Assistant Director teaches two courses per semester including sections of the department's introductory course, and /or courses in the candidate's area of expertise. Serves as the academic advisor for minors and graduate certificate students in the Women's and Gender Studies Program. Coordinates independent study work, outreach to the campus community and recruitment of students to the minor and graduate certificate programs.
