The second one is easy: update 13 dictates that the ref will move the airplane to the lt blue region if there is nothing on the runway when the plan is triggered. (Read the update though, there are exceptions and further clarifications) On the first one, my guess is that the ref will not move the plane to a scoring region or award points. My reasoning is that update 13 directs the ref as to what to do if the plane encounters stuff before reaching a scoring region and it says that if the airplane hits anything of substance before reaching the yellow region, there it stays. The ambulance and truck being in the yellow but sticking out enough for the plane to be stopped prior to reaching yellow would keep the plane out and be un-scorable. In that case, the runway would still be clear because the ambulance and truck and "in" the yellow zone and thus clear of the runway due to update 3 and the airplane never obstructs it due to the definition of the "runway" mission. If the ambulance and the supply truck are moved to the yellow region and are blocking the way of the cargo plane when it descends such that it stops just outside of the yellow region, would full points for the cargo plane be awarded as well as clear runway points? I know that I have seen comments that if the tension on the string is such that the plane does not make it to the yellow region and stops on the runway that it would be moved to the yellow region and clear runway points would be awarded in that situation. I wasn't sure if the same rule would apply if there are mission models blocking the path of the plane (even if they are in an expected point area like the yellow region). > > On that same note, if the missions are reversed and the cargo plane is triggered first before the ambulance and supply truck are delivered to the yellow region, would the plane be moved all the way into the yellow region by the ref or should the team plan for different placements of the plane for the rest of the duration (right inside the yellow region, pushed all the way to the back in the light blue region, etc). > > > Cathleen > Lunsford Lego Lions - #4157 > To UNSUBSCRIBE or CHANGE your settings, please visit https://listserv.jmu.edu/archives/vadcfll-l.html and select "Join or leave the list". > VADCFLL administrative announcements are sent via VADCFLL-ANNOUNCEMENTS-L.
