Call for Applications
Academic Year 2014-2015
(Deadline: April 15, 2014)
The Ethics Institute at Northeastern University invites applications for its 2014-2015 Visiting Scholars Program.
The Ethics Institute Visiting Scholars Program is open to scholars of all disciplines who would enjoy working in an interdisciplinary environment that encompasses theoretical, applied and empirical investigation
of ethical issues and questions. The Institute hosts 2-3 visiting scholars each academic year. Residency can be for either one or two semesters, and may be extended through the summer.
Visiting Scholars provide their own financial support during the residency but have access to Northeastern University’s library and will be provided office space. Visiting scholars will also receive $500 in research
funds each semester, which can be used for research materials and research assistance. Scholars are expected to attend Ethics Institute events and to give one presentation for the Northeastern community and/or the public each semester they are in residence.
Applications should include current curriculum vitae, a 1-2 page letter describing the research activities you will conduct during the residency, and at least one letter of reference. PhD or other appropriate terminal
degree is required. Applications must
