The theme for this year's conference is
Women's Bodies
November 21 and 22
Newman House, Dublin 2, Ireland

The conference, with over 45 speakers,  examines philosophical and socio-political issues relevant to  the gendered body. Topics covered will include 'the social construction of women', 'pornography, rape and violence', 'pregnancy and surrogacy', 'the body-beautiful', 'historical reflections on the gendered body', and much more. 

The key-note speakers are:

Lilian Alweiss (Trinity College Dublin)
Rae Langton (University of Cambridge) 
Gail  Weiss (George Washington University)
