The conference, with over 45 speakers, examines philosophical and socio-political issues relevant to the gendered body. Topics covered will include 'the social construction of women', 'pornography, rape and violence', 'pregnancy and surrogacy', 'the body-beautiful', 'historical reflections on the gendered body', and much more.
