I too am very saddened to hear of Nancy's death. Her work has been  -- and
still is -- important to a whole generation of us in feminist Political
Theory, as well as to those of you in Philosophy. She  was an active
presence for many years among feminist theorists and others concerned with
gender issues in Political Science.

I would urge FEAST members to support the formation of the prize at U. of
Washington in Nancy's name by sending contributions to her colleague there,
Chris Di Stefano,  as indicated in the message that Nancy Hirschmann has
forwarded to the list.
