- Sheila Lintott's Sublime Hunger

- Peg Brand’s Beauty Unlimited, which contains Diana Meyers's paper on Jenny Saville’s treatment of feminine beauty ideals in her paintings (chapter 6) and other chapters that might be of interest. 

- Miroir, Memoire, Mirage: Appearance, Aging, and Women is also another Meyers' paper on beauty ideal (contained in Meyers' Gender in the Mirror and in Margaret Walker’s Mother Time)
