One of my students is writing a paper that criticizes the Okinian feminist-multiculturalist debate through the lens of transgendered identity. She is developing the criticism through Charles Taylor's account of the harm of misrecognition.

I would love an introductory text on transgender identity to pass along to her. As well as any other relevant readings on transgender identity in feminism?
