Subject: Forward to Relevant Philosophy Networks: APA Pacific Call for Panels on Indigenous Philosophy
To:

Dear Philosophers,

Last Spring, the APA Committee on the Status of Indigenous Philosophers reestablished criteria for reviewing and hosting panels at the various APA meetings. The committee encourages philosophers to submit panels on Indigenous philosophy for APA Pacific.

APA Panel Submission Process

Upon receiving a submission, the committee will assess whether the proposals fulfill the mission of the committee as expressed in the official “charge” of the committee and will come to a consensus on whether to accept a proposal (http://www.apaonline.org/group/indigenous). Each proposal should include titles for each talk, brief abstracts and author/presenter information, consistent with the requirements for that particular APA. Reviews of proposals by the committee will commence immediately upon receiving a submission.

The APA Pacific Division will take place at the Westin St Francis in San Francisco from March 30 to April 2, 2016. We hope to receive panel submissions by no later than August 21st for consideration.

Send any queries or submissions to Kyle Whyte ([log in to unmask]
