I would really appreciate if you could encourage your undergraduate students to apply to our conference. If you remember a good paper from last semester, you can forward the student author this email (please!).
Our conference provides a great atmosphere for philosophical dialogue, where the participant students & SIUE Philosophy faculty engage actively with the papers. The conference strives to give a nurturing experience to the undergraduate philosophers.

The best student papers will be published in Polymath: An Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences Journal (peer-reviewed, open access)
Submission Requirements:
• Submit your paper as an electronic attachment in .doc, .rtf, or .pdf file format to Professor Saba Fatima at [log in to unmask].
• Papers in any area of philosophy are welcome.
• Students submitting papers must be undergraduates.
• In the subject line of the e-mail please indicate “Undergraduate Philosophy Conference”
• In the body of the message, please indicate author’s name, university affiliation, email where you wish to be contacted, and the title of the paper.
•Make the first page of the paper a cover page, which should include the author’s name, university affiliation, email contact, word count, and the title of the paper.
•Prepare the rest of the paper for blind review. Self-identifying information should only appear on the cover page and in the body of the email submitted to Professor Fatima. Title of the paper should appear on both the cover page and on the paper itself.
•The paper must not exceed 3000 words in length (not counting bibliography and notes).
