I second David's suggestion.  I didn't start the program at my son's elementary school, another parent did, but I am so happy she did!  If you want to start a team, it's necessary to get things going soon.  Expos (the "competition" event) are taking place in Maryland in the Jan - March time frame.  You will want a good 8-12 weeks of sessions with the students.  Recruiting team members needs to start in September and get the kits ordered so everything has arrived once the team has been formed.

Good afternoon all,

My son is 9 years old. Even he is very much interested in Lego. I live in Ashburn area as well. Please me know if there is any availability in your team.

Thanks a lot in advance,
Ramya

Hello Parents/Coaches,

I am looking for a Jr. FLL team for my 7 year old son. He is pretty good with Legos and has been to many Bricks4Kids sessions. I live in Ashburn, VA and I can travel 10-15 miles. I can be a mentor or a helper every week but won't be able to coach the team.

Please do let me know if there is any availability in your teams.

Thanks,
Mandira.
