Instructor or Visiting Assistant Professor. Department of Philosophy,
Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Geneva, NY. Mid-year appointment (must
begin January 2016), for the calendar year 2016 through the spring semester
of 2017 (3-2-3 course load).  No summer teaching required.  Undergraduate
teaching only.  Full-time position with benefits. Salary competitive. AOS:
Open.  AOC: environmental ethics or issues in law. Experience teaching as
the sole responsible instructor is required.  Demonstrated teaching
excellence, especially in 100-level courses, is also required. Experience
teaching courses in applied ethics is preferred, especially environmental
ethics or philosophical issues in the law. Ph.D. must be completed by
August 2016 at the latest. Scholars from traditionally underrepresented
groups are especially encouraged to apply.
