Dear Colleagues,

The Philosophy Department at Sacramento State is happy to be hiring this year! We’re seeking an innovative and engaging scholar for our tenure track assistant professor position. Details on the position and application process are below.

We are especially interested in applications from scholars from under-represented populations. Please share widely!

Also note that we have a non-traditional application process wherein applicants apply to the university’s employment centre with a cover letter identifying the link to a website they have created for the submission of their remaining materials. In large part, this is an opportunity for applicants to demonstrate their ease with digital and online formats, which is among the preferred skills we seek.

Please let me know if you have any questions!
