Travel and Accommodations

The Twin Ports (Superior, WI and Duluth, MN) are a popular destination in the summer. Make your travel plans as soon as possible.

The nearest airport is in Duluth, Minnesota (DLH), which is 14 miles from the campus.

Flights to Duluth may be expensive at this time of year. If so, you can also fly into Minneapolis/St Paul, Minnesota (MSP), which is 160 miles from campus. From there, you can rent a car or take Skyline Shuttle Service to Duluth.

Hotel room blocks have been reserved in both Duluth and Superior, and at the UWS residence halls. The reservation deadline is May 21.

Complete travel and accommodation information is available on the conference website.

Special Events

The Twin Ports are on the shores of gorgeous Lake Superior, the largest of the Great Lakes. Summer is extraordinarily beautiful in this area. Time has been reserved on Friday, June 24 for sightseeing activities. I hope you can find time to take advantage of the natural beauty and culture in the area! Further information is available on the conference website.

Reservations for dinner will be made at a local restaurant for each evening of the conference for those who would like to join us.
