I think flooding it with fake names is a great idea — and the form is up and working again. Let’s waste their time! Some of the more memorable ones showed up on Twitter; people were submitting "tips" on Indiana Jones, Hogwarts faculty, and the like. I believe at one point these fake "tips" overloaded the site's database. If some people aren't comfortable submitting a "tip" on themselves — for Alison's reasons, or perhaps others — maybe they would feel comfortable submitting a fictitious "tip" to jam the system. I'd prefer, however, that it was on our terms than theirs. I'm happy to be convinced otherwise, however. (I have two young girls ((7 months and 4 years)) I won't stop teaching the way I do (which probably would warrant me a spot on the list if I were more important) but I won't call attention to me explicitly. That doesn't mean the strategy of asking to be included is not worth of reflection. I just wanted to voice my support for Alison's worry. Sara On Thu, Dec 1, 2016 at 1:20 PM Wendy K.
