A concern has been brought to my attention by Anne Waters about the failure of the PENN Postdoctoral ad I posted on behalf of a staff member at PENN to correlate their interest in increasing the number students from underrepresented groups including Native Americans with special encouragement to apply to scholars from underrepresented groups in philosophy, like Native Americans, or those with research interests in Native American philosophy.

Unfortunately, I cannot speak on behalf of PENN; I was merely being collegial by posting the ad on behalf a person not affiliated with the FEAST Listserv. Perhaps inquiries regarding this issue could be directed toward decision makers at PENN.

I apologize for any concern or confusion and for my inability to clear it up.

Thanks,
