Hi Folks,
  Central to Behavioral Investment Theory is the principle of least effort, which is the idea that if you can achieve the same outcome for less, you virtually always take the path of least resistance. Think about it this way, when you park your car, you subconsciously calculate the shortest path to the entrance to the building, accounting for various obstacles.

  The attached op ed piece highlights how central this feature of our behavior is, only here it is couched in terms of "convenience." It suggests that convenience is one of the most powerful driving forces in shaping technology and thus our behavioral investments:
