Hi TOK List,

  One of the things that we in the US will need to do is transform the current polarizing tendencies into ways of talking, relating and being that allow for much more thoughtful, deep discussions and cultivating a sane common ground. I thought this narrative of Emma Sulkowicz, who became famous for her “mattress performance” and other displays that have made her a target of the right, (potentially—see article) exemplified the kind of transformation we can learn and benefit from:
