Hi TOK List,
I just put up my first blog of the 2020s! Here it is:
https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/theory-knowledge/202001/new-metapsychology-the-21st-century
I should note that it represents an update in the way I am framing the work. I feel the need to move past the “UTUA” phase. That did lots of good things, but it also was, well, a bit cumbersome and not readily communicable. The current
blog captures how the system can be better framed as a unified metapsychological framework for the 21st Century. It has three interrelated projects, which include a general theory of knowledge and wisdom, a specific unified theory of both the subject
matter of psychology (mental behavior) and the institution (basic, human, professional) and a unified approach to psychotherapy.
Per usual, I welcome thoughts and feedback.
Best,
Gregg
