Hi TOK List,

 

This ppt popped up in my feed this morning. It is a standard first psych 101 class on What is Psychology? Needless to say, it does not start by saying the field is conceptually broken 😊.

 

According to the ToK/Unified Framework, the science of behavior and mental processes just needs to be reworded to the science of mental behavioral processes.

 

Funny how one small change can make such a big difference. I believe it is diagnostic of a deep error that pervades our thinking.
