Recently, and maybe because therapy has been harder over the phone, I’ve naturally just stopped explaining the M-O and just sticking with CALM.  It seems like a simpler place to start and I can teach M-O as an advanced step later. Some are very new to all this and I don’t want to overwhelm (and lose) them.
*Look forward the watching the videos :D

Hi TOK/W I I Thrivers,

Zak and I have completed our third rough draft video, this time on CALM. We decided to go with “CALM Attitude” instead of trying to introduce what is meant by a “Metacognitive Observer” and keep it from being too technical. I feel mixed about this and would welcome feedback. Also, you will hear me some times start to say “MO” and then catch myself.

This is not the best CALM description I have ever done, but as Zak told me, when you are starting up every thing you do is a start up 😊.

If you are coming to the CALM workshop on Monday at 5:00 pm EDT, please try to have a look by then.
