Thanks.

Read DIKW article of yours. Will write back my comments next week on both your articles little later. But a very quick comment, now that I am starting to understand the undercurrency of Tree of Knowledge...

Psychology should follow social sciences. Assuming one single human would have no psychology. Not just psychology but even biology is an outcome of network effect. When Darwin talks of selection he is talking about selection of beneficial, sustainable changes amongst the same kind not those which are at separate trophic levels. Therefore, physical should be followed by a spiral with biology, social science and psychology. As they are all tied in a feedbackloop.

Hi Deepak,

It is definitely knowledge, not information. Probably the best way to differentiate those concepts is via the DIKW pyramid, which, as this blog notes, I like to invert.

And, yes, I prefer “human knowledge”. Until we get contact with another intelligent species that can enable us to share inter-species knowledge, I think we should qualify our knowledge as human.

Best,

G

Gregg,

Saw your Psychtoday article. Two quick questions - is it about (i) is it about information or knowledge, (ii) human knowledge or knowledge?
