Thank you, Gregg. Like Ziskin and Faust, he was a strong influence that didn’t always sit well with others, but dissent is important
Thanks,
Tyler

Subject: FW: [SSCPNET] sad news about Scott Lilienfeld

Hi TOK List,

I feel the need to share that I just heard of Dr. Scott Lilienfeld’s passing last night. I have known Scott for a long time; he offered his commentary on the ToK’s frame for psychology back in 2004<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.gregghenriques.com_uploads_2_4_3_6_24368778_is-5Fit-5Fworth-5Fthe-5Ftrouble.pdf&d=DwIF-g&c=eLbWYnpnzycBCgmb7vCI4uqNEB9RSjOdn_5nBEmmeq0&r=HPo1IXYDhKClogP-UOpybo6Cfxxz-jIYBgjO2gOz4-A&m=PR6lbox2_jiqI3yy50n9SW_ox0Y8m2orP8RmXaIbZB0&s=ZzaYhOrfbQ2Orr9WxeFR8Y19W8qQbhmwbUnUEr87w2I&e= >. Although he and I did not always see eye-to-eye on matters in psychology, I always deeply appreciated his insights, commitment to integrity, and strong voice for empirical science. Moreover, he was a genuinely good, caring human-being. He will be missed.

Sincerely,
Gregg
