Hey Gregg and all,

I made a quick 3D version of your graphic, what do you think?
I added a wireframe cone emerging from the 5th joint point since it seems like we are in the process of laying down the infrastructure for whats to come.

Thanks, Lee.

The CMBR is interesting. What you say here is correct, in so far as it goes. But is it the only one, true reality? 😊. Time is a funny thing when we are dealing with photons. An argument can be made that the CMBR represents a portal to the past. See the attached “riddle”.  I also like the fact that it can represent what Chaisson calls the “radiation” era. I consider the first phase of the Big Bang the “pure energy singularity” before the phase transition resulted in fermions that follow the Pauli Exclusion Principle.

But you have a point. Here is one way of showing it.

The starry background is basically for aesthetic effect. One way of interpreting it is that the ToK System traces the evolution of complexification from the human line. There are, of course, many possible lines. An alien line, for example, is not shown and if we encountered them, we would have their ToK Timeline. So, it can be thought of that way.

I think of the Garden as part of the 5th Joint Point. We are at the phase of “cosmic jellyfish”. This term took hold in this podcast with Mercury black. The idea is that jellyfish represent the kind of creatures that are at the base of the 3rd joint point. They have distributed neural nets, but do not have brains and complex active body plans that burst on to the seen during the Cambrian Explosion. Here is an image from that podcast

We have laid down the internet, have all synced up with various interfacing computers, iPhones and other devices and are generating artificial intelligence systems. The 20th Century set the stage, the 21st we will launch through it. The UTOK vision is we need to merge wisdom and technology to generate wisdom energy flow. The Garden is a 4th dimensional 5th joint point vision.

The image emerged as I tried to find an image I could put on my Linked In banner. I wanted something that looked cool and captured my work, and I hoped to include the two primary aspects of the ToK and the UTOK.

Best,
Gregg

Gregg,

Slide #5 appeals aesthetically to me the most, so I will comment on that.

You show an image of the cosmic microwave background at the origin of time.

The image you show is the compilation of 9 years of data collected since 2001.

It represent the CMB as it exists today, more than 13 billion years after the big bang, and it represents the expanse of space, not a small singularity existing at the beginning of time.

You confound several dimensions. The direction of the time dimension is clearly shown by the primary arrow.

Including the starry background overlays that dimension with at least two spatial dimensions.

In at least one version of the diagram (shown elsewhere) you label the Y axis a “Complexity” and the X or Z axis as “Variation”

The garden is a representation of Level 4, yet you show it as emerging at level 5.

From our Level 4 vantage point, we can only speculate on the characteristics of Level 5.

See: https://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/Level_5_Research_Center

Who is intended the audience for this?

What message is it intended to send?

What problem does it solve?

Overall, however, I like the starry background.

I hope these comments are helpful.

Gregg:

They look nice, but what are they meant to depict?
