In Episode 31, Gregg welcomes Alex Ebert. Alex is an American singer-songwriter and composer, best known for being the lead singer and songwriter for the American bands Ima Robot and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. He has won a Golden Globe Award and appeared on the Colbert Show. In this episode, Alex shares his narrative of how his musical career and involvement in the "loudness wars" led him to a series of insights about the nature of waves, frequency consolidations, relations between lack and desire, and the nature of emergence from quantity to qualities. He and Gregg then sync this up with UTOK, especially the iQuad coin, memes, and the upcoming singularity.
