There is a personal side to this as well.

I have been trying "to find the others" but there is no online platform
that supports what I have in mind, at least I have not found one. The
closest to my vision are dating sites but they are for people looking for
romantic and sexual connections. I am looking for something that would
facilitate connections for many other purposes.

There are many people, like me, very critical of facebook and looking for a
better and different alternative. Discord has emerged but it too does not
meet my needs. Mighty Networks seems to be growing rapidly but it too lacks
the features I am looking for.

There is now growing discussion in the Game B community about building new
platforms but I am not active in those areas. My interest is only as a user
and I have no skills in the area of development. I do sense that there is a
lot of energy out there for something new.
