Hello Players,
Just wanted to add that in Danish there are two words for play:
Both lege and spille can be done individually or with others.

Hi Lee,
Attracted to this concept of "play!" and your map of its nature as a construct, relevance, and potential benefits. I'm thinking of neurobiologist Jaak Panskepp, who wrote that PLAY was one of 7 core affective/emotional states of the mammalian nervous system.

ToK Folk,
I hope we are having fun!
I created a Wikiversity course on Playing. It is freely available on line at: https://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/Playing
This is largely based on work I did more than 10 years ago, however watching the new docuseries Let It Be I was interested to see how playful the Beatles were during their creative sessions.
I hope this is fun and helpful.
Thanks,
Lee Beaumont############################To unsubscribe from the TOK-SOCIETY-L list: write to: mailto:[log in to unmask] or click the following link: http://listserv.jmu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=TOK-SOCIETY-L&A=1
