It’s hard to know what Arthur means by this. Maybe DW told him, “the self is an illusion”.

So perhaps this is an 8 year old aardvark’s response to existential doubt, and thereby a version of “cogito ergo sum?” I particularly like the way that he manoeuvres towards “believe in yourself”, thereby skirting the whole issue of “the self”, whilst at the same time providing a foundation to work from.

He also says, “having fun isn’t hard if you’ve got a library card.”
