CFP: Ethics and the Environment 

CALL FOR PAPERS - Karen Warren Tribute Issue 

Ethics & the Environment is considering papers for a special issue in honor of the pioneering ecofeminist philosopher and late member of our editorial board Karen Warren. We welcome submissions on Warren’s philosophy, her ecofeminist perspectives on race, class, mortality, social justice, the history of philosophy and other relevant topics. 

Submission deadline: May 23, 2022 

Manuscripts may be submitted as word files via e-mail to [log in to unmask] For matters of style, consult The Chicago Manual of Style. 

Possible topics include conceptual approaches in ecological philosophy, such as ecological feminism, biocentrism and deep ecology, as they apply to issues such as genetically modified organisms, new reproductive technology, cloning, homophobia, war and militarism, environmental health and management, and ecosystem health. We encourage submissions offering exploration of the interlocking aspects of Warren’s thought. Manuscripts on any of these topics may be submitted as word files at any time via e-mail to [log in to unmask]. For matters of style, consult The Chicago Manual of Style. Upon acceptance, an abstract of 100 words will be required.
