I enjoyed this essay as well. Several points directly related to Nik's "long winded" email. Must be some kind of name connection there : )
Here are my favorites from your writing:
- We have to stop being right; as we can’t be in reciprocal, mutual, and caring relationships and be right all the time.
- Great feelings of oneness, non-duality, unified consciousness, solidarity, and even love are relatively easy: turning these experiences into acts of daily, and utterly exhausting, care and tenderness is really hard.
- Whereas Putin metabolized his experiences into “big man” qualities of power, steely strength, physical prowess, and enormous control, Zelenskyy seems to have metabolized his into a form of regenerative masculinity: sourced in the feminine but is not feminized.
- Above all, we must never forget that living embodied wisdom, living caring and tender relationships, is still mostly the preserve of mothers, grandmothers, a growing number of dads, and wise elders who are too busy caring, tending, and nurturing to write articles or do TED talks (or they just aren't that interested in intellectual debate and discourse and don’t see it making much of a difference).

Hi friends
I've witnessed some fiery communications here and elsewhere over the last few days - which inspired me to write this piece.
I’ve been meaning to share more thinking on our work in ‘relational fields’ and ‘embodied wisdom’ - especially as they pertain to leadership that transforms our crises - and this seemed like a good moment to put pen to paper.
I hope it is of service - and big shouts out to Alison my partner, my mum and 3 sisters, and Adriana, my collaborator, for supporting the development of a modicum of embodied wisdom and relational intelligence in me.
