LOL
Granted I have read a bit of your work and heard some talks and follow the list-serve but I am no psychologist, and didn't take psych in college and I have no problem understanding your work, when I first started it was new but not foreign and I found it clear as to what your were talking about so their comment
“several of our staff tried to read this and understand your definitions, but none of us knew what you were talking about”.
This seems a bit off to me - seems to me that they see "The Problem of Psychology and..." and actually meen to say 'fuck off, were fine, everything is fine' a bit of denial and avoidence?
anyhow I thought the article was great.
cheers

The fact that Psychology Today readers couldn’t understand 10 words that are foundational to psychology is both tragically sad and hilarious to me

Subject: [EXT] TOK 10 Key words

Hi Folks,

I put up this blog on 10 Key Words in UTOK Psychology. I shared it a bit ago and first tried to put it up on Psychology Today, but they rejected it with the comment “several of our staff tried to read this and understand your definitions, but none of us knew what you were talking about”. Oh well. What if I just say: “Trust me! 😊

Anyway, I put it up on Medium. I consider it as is a reference for those who want to learn the language. And it makes the larger point that these words need to be both defined and then defined in relationship to one another. And, in UTOK’s corner, the argument is no system does this with more clarity and precision and in a way that aligns with what we know.
