I would suggest that Bernardo Katsrup’s analytical idealism explains this.
We are condensates  of the field, and so connected, as apposed to the
isolated physicalism/materialism. There is a fuzziness to these condensates
that facilitates some amount of connection, ala Sheldrake, and there is
memory held by the field. The problem of proof has to do with the limit
placed on the condensate/matter which gives it/us definition and boundaries
so as to facilitate relationships without being blurred or overwhelmed.
